What are the crowds USUALLY like doing Magical Mornings? (i think thats what its called when the park opens 1 hour earlier in fantasyland and tomorrowland for resort guests or 3 day or more park ticket guests) i know this probably varies depending on the time of year and other cercumstances..but lets say during a tuesday or thursday morning... what are some average wait times for some of the rides??? Thanks!

Yes, it does depend on the time of year. When is it that you are going, again?

However, even when crowds are high, you can generally walk right onto whatever you hit first, if you are near the front of the entrance line and you walk over there briskly. Nemo is the possible exception-- people tend to run for it, and if you're not in the first wave, you might wait 20-30 minutes for it even if you arrive at the queue within 10 minutes of opening.

There's some recommended orders out there to do the rides in, depending on what you want to do. Let's assume you'll save Nemo to do last thing at night or on a different MM day if you have more than one (because it can eat up half or more of your MM hour).

Get to the gates at least 20 minutes early-- 30 is even better. That will put you near the front of the line at the turnstiles.

If you're going to do the Fantasyland rides (not just for little kids! I heart Peter Pan and Toady! :lovestruc ) Do Peter Pan first, always first. :thumbsup2 That one builds up a line very quickly, does not have FP, and the line generally stays consistently long all day. Other ones that are slow loaders and tend to stay busy: Dumbo, Alice, Matterhorn, Teacups, Toad. Then hit Snow White, Pinocchio and the Carrousel (these are kind of "second string" rides for me; we often skip them). Then go ride Buzz and try to get onto Space Mountain before the regular crowds hit-- if they've already hit and the line is up more than you want to wait, just grab the FP for later.

The other thing, about general crowd volume-- it looks like zillions of people waiting at the gates on a busy weekend MM. But once they all get inside, it's pretty spread out for that first hour, especially compared to the midday crush. It doesn't seem crowded, that first hour.:thumbsup2 Magic Mornings rock.

For approx. wait times, all of the Fantasyland rides (except Peter Pan, Dumbo, and Matterhorn) will have lines of 5 min or less. Peter Pan's can get up to 20-30 min by the end of MM. Dumbo and Matterhorn generally have 15 min waits throughout most of the MM hour. As for Space and Buzz, I've never done them during MM because I can always pick up a FP for them later and do them with little waits.

Also there is sort of a cap on the number of guests who do MM. There are only so many hotel rooms thus only so many guests who actually even get the MM. Delete the ones who cannot or will not use the MM and you thus have a pretty easy time even with peak crowd days.

Definitely get them slow loaders out of the way first and get the FP as soon as possible.

It does depend in the time of year. In early November I was able to walk onto most of the Fantasyland rides. I probably only waited about three to five minutes at the most. By the time I wanted to ride Nemo, the wait was about thirty minutes.

It'll be the first week of May for me.... hoping to do MM on a tuesday or thursday... if not both! what do you think our crowds might be like??? and does it fill up fast once the park officially opens?

First week in May ought to be reasonably light. The spring break kids are all back in school. You should be just fine!

On busy weekends it can be a WALL of people suddenly invading your space after your relatively calm MM hour. But in your case, it will probably not be a huge influx. Just kind of guessing, though-- that's what our experience was last October.

I'd advise doing your MM earlier in your stay-- so Tuesday, rather than Thursday? If you have just one. Because the longer you're at DL, the more tired you are overall, and it gets harder to drag yourself out of bed in the morning! So it's usually good to do your MM early, before the trip fatigue sets in. :)
