I am sure that this has been asked and answered, but these boards are massive and I just don't know where to look....so I'm askin! :)
Our trip is planned for Jan 13 (arriving around 8pm) and leaving Jan 19 (which is MLK day)
I already have room reserved at Shades and bought plane tickets...Also made reservations at CRT and BBB for daughter. I had NO problem with getting these reservations, had my pick of times and dates...
Anyone know whether crowds are out of control during that weekend? I always go expecting crowds and am pleased when they aren't too bad.
If you've ever been during that time, I'd love your input, and some kind of comparison...since crowds are sort of subjective...Are we talking Spring break and summer crowds or just heavier than a normal Jan day?
Thanks in advance for any help/info!!

We've been over MLK weekend. The crowds certainly increase over that weekend (compared to the week prior), but they aren't crazy like July.

I have been MLK weekend many times and the biggest thing I founf was the College Universal Dance and Cheerleading competition is held all weekend. They stay at the All-Stars and perform at Hollywood studios at the Indiana Jones stage-so that show will be closed.
I would HIGHLY recommend NOT staying at an All-Star this weekend, there are millions of college kids dancing and cheering everywhere!!!!!! The parks are ok-not too crowded
