MLB Opening Day

lol, I love how everyone compares themselves to the Yankees in here.

I just like beating them. It makes all the too-cocky yankees fans at school shut up for a few days and that? Is a blessed gift.

I like winning in general, there's just something more sweet about it when it's against the Yanks.

lol, you're both wrong. It's pretty obvious that the team who's doing well has the cockiest fans. Earlier it was Mets fans giving the Yankee fans crap. Then that flip-flopped. Now the Red Sox have joined.

I shuld have clarified that. I meant where I live, not on the boards

The Mets have done one thing that the Yankees can't.

And that's beat the Red Sox (twice.)

xD

BoSox have an amazing bullpen though.

Haha, Yankee fans are still cocky. The three cockiest teams: Yankees, Red Sox, and Cubs. Red Sox and Yankee fans have something to be cocky about, but I can't stand Cubs fans. I had to deal with them last weekend in Cincinnati and it was hell. All they wanted to do was talk about how it was their year, even though they were sitting in fourth place. Most of them are quite ignorant.

yeah, but red sox fans were never cocky untill '04. I know about 40 Red Sox fans, 30 of them became fans in '04:rolleyes:

For real. It's fun to see the Brewer fans get in fights with Cub fans at the games.
My mom just told me that when I visit my brother, we're going to the Brewers-Nationals game in DC. Awesome (of course except for the fact that they are playing the Nationals)!

You should be pumped they're playing the Nationals. That's an easy 2 or 3 wins, depending on how long the series is.

And the best fights are always at football games. When I was 12, I got into an arguement with a Steelers fan at the Bengals/Steelers first round playoff game in 2005. It resulted in him swearing at me numerous times, giving me the bird, and eventually getting ejected. That was brutal game..

Some of the best fotball fights happen at the Meadowlands XD Jet fans seem to have season tickets to both the giants and the jets and when you go to a giant game you end up sitting around a bunch of Jets fans at a Giant game. The amount of fights that occur are crazy.........of course I think everyone was on the saem side during Super Bowl 42;)

I remember when i was like 11 or 12 I got a beer can thrown at me at a Red Sox-Yanks game:rotfl: At Yankee Stadum we were sitting ahead of Sox fans and the Yankees were doing pretty good that day and one time when we stood up to cheer the guys threw beer cans at us:rotfl:

What do they do for season ticket holders if there is a Giants-Jets game. Or a Lakers-Clippers game for that matter.

Since we're on the subject... I went to a Marquette-Louisville basketball game last year. I'm a big Wisconsin Badger fan and Marquette is our basketball rival. So, I went to the game dressed in my Badger clothes. Marquette ended up losing by free throws at the very end. On my way out, I was walking in front of some pretty pissed off dude at the stop light. He saw me in my Badger stuff and flipped me off and started yelling at me. At this point, I took my hat off and waved it at him (which probably wasn't a good idea cause he could've run me over). After that he slammed his horn and started yelling more. I got to the sidewalk and the guy drove past yelling, "F**K YOU, YOU F***ING CU*T!" Lmao, it was awesome.

Whoever is listed as the home team gets the right to the seats.

I'm glad to see the Rays are finally picking up some steam. They're my favorite AL team. I'd love see them take the Wild Card this season.

They should've won the World Series last year and I think they would've if they hadn't just gone 7 games against the Red Sox.

Glad to see that performance from the cardinals last night. Well Albert will always be Albert, but Duncan getting a home run. It is also nice seeing Rick and Yadi getting a couple of hits also. Lets just hope that ludwick can be in the batting order for a couple days at a time so he can get his swing back.
