Day 2 MK!
Our party consisted of me Disney Nut, 48 and my two teen DSs. Dad stayed home!
We lunched at Columbia Harbour House on the edge of Fantasyland. Although it was before noon, the lines were forming already. It was our first day using the Dining Plan. The young woman who took our order was wonderful. Information and a smile. I love that Disney attitude!
2 1/2 Sandwich/Soup combos
1 ham and N.E. clam chowder
1 tuna and chower
1 tuna sandwich on multi-grain toast with really yummy chips which we saved for later!
3 apple pie slices for dessert
Can't remember the exact beverages but I know we used a snack credit or two for extra drinks.
It was a very good value for the plan as the food was definitely above standard counter service quality and good sized portions. My older DS and I got silly because by the time we finished working on our very hot chowder, my youngest DS had inhaled his tuna sandwich. Definitely a winner with him. We ate upstairs in the quiet overlooking Fantasyland. It was a welcome break from the craziness that is MK! By the time we left, the lines were long and even the upstairs dining area was filling up!
The Wrap-up
Quality
sandwiches
B
soup
B
apple pie
A Quite honestly, it was amazing! And I am very fussy about my crust!!!
Service
B+ Friendly, organized and informative
Ambience
B Relatively quiet for a counter service location.
Sorry I didn't keep my receipts organized but it came to around $40.00 or so.
Next up dinner at Le Cellier!
