MK until 2AM - worth it?

IT is amazing and very habit forming. After Wishes there will be a max exit, not everyone but a huge chunk. My advise is to not be right on Main Street for Wishes. The later it gets the more people will leave. FL will be a ghost town from 1 to 2.

This will be something that your kiddos will remember forever.

Agreed! My boys rode Space Mountain for the very first time at 2:20AM (EMH was until 3am). They still talk about that night years later!

Worth it! We like todo one late night at MK per trip if we can

WORTH IT! HANDS DOWN! Some of my most magical memories of MK have been late night experiences, there is something magical about MK at night with the entire park lit up and lighter crowds that allow you to enjoy the ambient themes, music, and not to mention shorter waits for our favorite attractions!! Enjoy it until the very end!! You WILL NOT regret it!! :)

They are absolutely worth it if you can make it until the end. We loved staying out that late when the next day was a sleep in day.

So true! :thumbsup2 After our 3am EMH the boys and DH were in bed by 4am and I followed around 5am. This had been our arrival day as well! We slept in until 9:30 and were at DHS by 11am!
We joke that our motto at Disney is: Sleep is for the Weak!
Ours is "we'll sleep when we're dead." :rotfl2:

Sorry to hijack... What are the transportation options after EMH for on-site resorts guests? The monorail stops running much earlier, right?

I think it is bus or boat. Anyone know for sure.

We stayed at the MK until 3:00 AM last June for EMH. It was amazing!!! We also started in AK, went back to the resort to rest for a few hours, and then headed to MK around dinner time. My whole family loved our late night at MK. We made so many memories and went on SO many rides. You really should try it.

Did Mk until 3am second week in April, had a great time and the girls went multiply times on all the Mtns

As long as your kids can hang, I think it's worth it. EMH are some of my now 21 year old son's favorite memories. He always remembers going to MK and staying late. I think for the memories alone, it's worth it.

We once flew in from the UK (8 hour flight), landed at MCO at around 4pm, checked into our resort, went to Epcot for Illuminations, realised MK was still open so got on the monorail, then found it was extra magic hours 'til 3am, so stayed in the park until 2am. Worked out we had been awake for pretty much 24 hours!!

On Labor Day Weekend, Saturday Sept 5, MK is open until 12am, with EMH until 2am. This is the midpoint of our trip and we actually have a complete rest day scheduled the next day. Nothing but 530pm dinner.

I was going to go to Epcot and stay through illuminations on this day. Now I am considering AK, rest, and then head to MK for as long as the kids (15,12,9) are happy.

Any thoughts? Will MK just be too crowded to make this worth it? Are the late night EMH lines manageable?
I look forward to those time slots. I set my fast passes for night time. I will wake up early day of and get to a park at rope drop. Ride everything I want then go back to the room for a dip in the pool, lunch and a nap. Then totally refreshed for late night park times. It's the best. So much fun. You would be surprised how many people don't go to the late times. Psst...you will see me there. I'm going. Have fun.

Will they have many of these EMH nights at MK during December, like from the 20th?

Expect very few (maybe one, if any) PM EMH at MK between Dec. 20 and 31.
MK regular hours will likely close at 1AM nightly.

If (IF) the monorail is not running, there will be more buses and boats added to those normally there.
