While the tree is in the Rose Garden they are not doing a tree lighting ceremony. The tree will be located there until the parade filming is complete. It is set to move back to the Town Square area (by the flag pole) on December 6 or 7th. Once it is back in it's normal location the tree lighting ceremony takes place at 5:30pm.
I can't tell you a time, but I know it's been getting dark here between 5:00 and 5:30. If that helps. I'm sure it's on the schedule you get when you enter the park. Don't miss the tree lighting at Epcot either, IMO it's much better.
Thanks! I could find plenty of references to the one in Epcot, but not MK. We'll be there the week after Christmas. I want to do as many of the special Christmas activities as possible.
Where exactly in Epcot is the tree lighting? Please don't use east or west or north or south - I'm terrible with those kinds of directions. Is it on the right side of this as you're facing that ----
