MK Touring Advice...Help!

Okay, we were unable to get Mine Train FP. We currently have:
Peter Pan 11:15, Space Mtn 1:40, Big Thunder 3:35 (start times...hour long...you know the drill).

It is an EMH day when we are going...original was thinking hit Mine Train when we enter...then over to Splash Mountain...work our way back towards Peter and then on to Space Mountain area...parade...and then Big Thunder (again hopefully)! Thoughts? Thinking this might be a lot of unnecessary walking and having to pull the kids past rides...

Alternative option might be to skip the dash to Mine Train (I've heard there are lots of people making the dash and even the initial line can be long...true?) Instead, start our day heading towards Splash (since we don't have FP), hit Big Thunder (even though we have a later FP)...plus fun along the way...and make our way towards Fantasyland for Peter Pan FP...this may result in a longer Mine Train wait later in the day...but do you think we will be better off in terms of more rides in/overall less wait time/less unnecessary walking?

I'd definitely do the alternative option you've listed. You can get so much done in adventureland and frontier land early on.

If you're going on an AM EMH day, then Frontierland and Adventureland rides aren't open during the AM EMH. Tomorrowland and Fantasyland are open during AM EMH.

Sounds like too much criss crossing.

Hit 7D during night parade, if you arent in the first 45min worth of people at RD. The line builds quickly (over an hour with 10minutes of opening).

Also, utilize the train, great way to move from Frontierland around to FantasyLand.
And, dont forget there is a path behind the Speedway near the train station that goes to Space.

Sounds like we are going on the same day. I was able to snag 7DMT but I am only 1 so it was probably easier

We are staying at SOG - so we qualify for EMH, but not the 60 day booking window, so only 30 days...

And yes, we are a group of 10.

Okay, feeling a mess about my day! Suggestions on how we should tackle it. Should I alter my FP times? Should I go with it...where should we start? Should we try to do Mine Train right away or tackle it later...would love advice!

If I were you, I'd be at the front of the line at RD and ride it first thing. Then follow along your first plan.

Your best chance of getting on 7DMT is at RD, get in the area farthest to the right when waiting to enter, follow the CM's and you will get on the ride quickly, just stay to the right the entire time. Once you have ridden this do a few more attractions in Fantasy land. You could also get in a extra ride on SM early on. Around 9:00 head towards liberty square and you will be first in line for HM or you will be in front of the line for pirates. If you get in line by 7:20-25 you will accomplish a lot in the morning before 10:00 am. May be a little more challenging with 10 people, might want to split up some if able.

I think your FP times are fine. If you get there at RD, you can ride a bunch, including 7DMT, in the first hour or two. If it is looking like madness at RD, happened to us in late July on non-AM EMH day, then try during or after Wishes. You can still do things in Fantasyland, like Pooh and IASW, and in Tomorrowland, like Buzz. I usually like to have mine finish a little earlier in the day, maybe by a half hour or an hour, so that maybe I could get more. However, yours looks fine.
