We have been at the Boardwalk for several days. This morning we attempted to go to MK for rope drop. When we arrived at the park is was so crowded that the lines to get in went from the train station all the way back to the walkway near Bay Lake. People were packed in. It appeared to be dangerously crowded. We hopped on the Monorail and went to Epcot instead. Was anyone else on the boards there today?

They haven't been heard from. I called the police. ;)

This is a very busy week for Disney, particularly the Magic Kingdom. Lots of people take this week off due to the short work week and school week, as well as Thanksgiving.
Mondays are also one of the busier MK days of the week as most people are just beginning their vacation week and usually hit MK first before the other parks.
Do MK on either a Tuesday or Wednesday this week. It will still be busy, but a little more manageable.
Avoid MK on Thursday (Thanksgiving) and Friday the day after. It will be EXTREMELY crowded!

This week is probably the fourth busiest weeks of the year, behind only Christmas/New Years week, Presidents Day week, and 4th of July week.

Seems like all of the parks are crowded today. I hope that they have gotten tired as we're thinking of heading out to EMH at MK. I'm doubting this is the case though.

I went around noon today and bag check did take some time, but not 25 min. They are being extra security sensitive and looking very closely at all bags, so I'll take a delay. Crowds were heavy, but I only went on fp rides & then left. I had already been to Disney studios & that was super crowded too, so I think it's just that time of year. The weekend was much better as far as crowds go.

We did a fly by on the monorail around 11:15 AM. I have never seen the crowds so heavy outside the park. CMs holding back the ferry and busses. MK crowds Sunday were awesome. Friday night MVMCP were low too. Couldn't believe how nice it was! Let's see how the rest of the week goes.

Was at MK and Epcot yesterday. Pretty much like summer crowds - slightly better. Today, AK and HS (both recommended) - absolutely awful. Worse than summer crowds, IMO.

Reported crowd level at MK was 9 out of 10 today. EPCOT was a 10.
Granted, I walked into Epcot 45 minutes before closing, but the hour before Illuminations was actually the least crowded I have ever seen Epcot. I'm sure that once the sun went down and the cold set in people booked it out of there, but I walked up to a prime viewing spot in America <15 minutes from the start and had open spaces on both sides.

We arrived today. Made it to MK around 7 this evening. We rode HM, BTM, Pooh, SW, People Mover, and speedway. Watched part of Electrical parade and Wishes. And went to the candy store. Did this all in 3.5 hours.

Those long bag lines could be shortened if people would actually only have one person get in line with all the bags, pay attention and quit texting on your phone, get your bag open and unzipped, no strollers, and go on both sides of the tables. I got in a line last week where there were not two lines for each station and one woman was talking to her child in the stroller instead of putting her stuff on the table, so I went ahead of her. She shot off a glance - but seriously, there are hundreds of people behind you - get your stuff ready!! I learned to go to the line that had whole families in them because they usually only had one or two bags.

Just got back from EMH. Not too bad, cooler temps helped keep some rides low. SPLASH was a walk on. BTMR finally got down to a 5 min wait by 11:40. Got there at 10:15 and rode Buzz, Splash, BTMR 2 times. Could have rode more but decided to start heading out at 20 till.

Totally agree with, but it is like at the airport-how can you not have your shoes and belt off, your laptop out etc.
But as far as no strollers-thats not their choice-you are forced to have your stroller searched as well.

I was checking wait times at MK last night and they really dropped off. Many rides were down to under 30 mins. I guess everyone got tired and left!
