MK to WL; POP to MK

Hello.
2 questions:

1. I will be spending the day at MK and want to have lunch at WL. Am I better off going by Boat or by bus? What is the approximate travel time for each?

2. One morning instead of taking the Bus from POP to MK, I thought of taking the bus to EPCOT and then the monorail to MK (DD First trip. Thought she will like the ride). Does the monorail stop at MK or at the TTC? How much longer would this trip take?

1. Either bus or boat from MK to WL will work, the boat seems to take a little bit longer. I would say you could wait at most 20 minutes for either. If we saw a boat coming in to dock or one already at the dock, we would take that. Otherwise, we would bus over to WL.

2. The EPCOT monorail will let you off at the TTC. There you could take another monorail over to the MK or a ferry. I would say doing this could add 30-45 minutes over taking a bus from POP. Instead of doing this first thing in the morning, maybe do it on your way back to the hotel in the afternoon. Or if the MK becomes crowded, you could park hop to EPCOT.

RE: Pop to MK via epcot


The pop bus stop at Epcot is the furthest away, it is quite a walk (unless the driver stops and drops off closer, sometimes in the am this happens). DH and I did this once when the MK bus line at Pop was crowded and an empty Epcot bus was almost ready to leave. By the time I walked to the Monorail, up the Monorail ramp, then walked around the ramps from Epcot monorail (at TCC) to MK monorail, I was tired already . It does add at least 30 minutes to the trip, but I have to admit, we rode an almost empty bus and an empty monorail...which was really interesting being on a monorail with nobody else at all!!

I love the boat from the MK to WL...I'd take that.

As for the Pop to Epcot to Monorail to MK...it will definitely take some time..

When we stayed at the WL this past summer we took the boat the first few times to the MK- great ride, pretty and relaxing. But then we realized the bus takes like 7 minutes and then switched to that for the remaining. Plus the bus seemed to run a lot faster than the "every 20 miutes"
