MK to O'Hana for 11:30 am ADR

Is the Monorail the quickest and most efficient? We will be at MK for EMH at 8. What time should we plan to be leaving MK? I am thinking we should be at the Monorail by 10:45. I'm hoping since our ADR time is the end of the breakfast, it will not be backed up, but instead clearing out.

I would take the boat. It stops at the Grand Floridian first and then continues to the Poly. Since you're supposed to check in 15 minutes prior, I'd be at the boat dock by 10:30.

If it is running correctly, yes. But the monorail can never be counted on.

Thanks to both of you. I guess I'm naïve even though I do extensive planning on these boards. We have never checked in for an ADR 15 minutes early. Ever. Once, we came running and out of breath and were late as we were stuck on Test Track. The CM told us not to worry, "relax, ma'am, this is Disney". I should note, I would never show up late on purpose. Just went back and checked and none of my ressies say we need to check in early.

Yup.
"Everybody" is late at Disney, at least part of the time.

We never check in early either. Monorail would be quicker if running, boat a fun ride but slower. I personally wouldn't worry about being at the monorail station till 11 or so but I've always found it to be a short wait/ride over to Poly.

When you walk out of the gates, see if a boat is waiting or unloading - if so jump on the boat. Otherwise, monorail IF it's not down.

Another bonus for the monorail is that it drops you off fairly close to 'Ohana.
