Hi,
I'm looking to set up a princess breakfast on a day that we will got to MGM afterwards. (I know the princess breakkfasts are hard to get, etc, I will call exactly 90 days out at 6:58 am, etc...but I just want to figure out some options...)

Anyhow, I'm deciding between going for CRT at MK or PSB at Epcot. On our past trips, we've mostly gone from hotel to a park and back again, not from one park to another....

So here's my questions:
What ways can one travel from MK to MGM?
What ways can one travel from Epcot to MGM?

Given whatever the options are, would this be a good day to use our car? We are driving down and can use the mini-van if we want to. I just always found the buses very easy to use. And with three little kids, there's car seats to deal with and all so the buses are easier. ANd I hate dealing with parking...so most days, even though we'll have the car, we'll be using the buses.

Thanks for any feedback!

From Epcot, you could take the boat to MGM. From MK you could go to the TTC and take a bus. Just make sure you don't try to go to MGM on an EMH day.

IMHO, go to CRT and make it a MK day. Really waste a lot of time going park to park.

To get from MK to MGM you have to take a monorail to Transportation and Ticket Center and then take an MGM bus from there. or....you can walk/take the monorail to Contemporary and wait there for the MGM bus(which is usually less crowded/have a better chance of sitting down).

There are two ways to get from Epcot to MGM. From the Front/Future World Entrance you can take a bus Epcot to MGM. If you are near the International Gateway(World Showcase) you can take a FriendShip Boat(Not sure the exact route you may have to transfer at one of it's hotels stops) or you can walk but you probably don't want to do that do to all the children in tow.

It's up to you if you want to take a car it maybe a tad quicker to take a car but since you don't like parking I wouldn't neccessarily advise taking a car.

Epcot to MGM: You won't have to transfer on the boat. The boat isn't the fastest thing in the world, but its a pleasant ride

You can also walk, takes probably twenty minutes. Its about a mile. If the boat is just leaving, walk down to the BeachClub boat dock, you'll beat it and can pick it up there.

You could also catch a bus from the MK to one of the Epcot resorts and walk (about 1/2 a mile) to MGM.

Thanks all. I think the boat from Epcot will be perfect!

We will be there for 2 weeks this time. This will be our 4th trip in 4 years :) and the kids are all too little for the bigger rides so we have plenty of time to relax and take it slow. I think we'll do the princess breakfast in Epcot and then take the boat over to MGM, just to enjoy the ride.

It will be early December - not too corwded - and it's not an MGM early entry day so it shouldn't matter too much what time we get to MGM.

Thanks again for the replies!

We're going to this a different day and work it out to stay at MK. Usually that's what I do when we go to the Epcot breakfast, too. We just make it an Epcot day...but this time scheduling wasn't goign to work out. My MIL and I have 4 days with the kids, but with out the hubbies, before the hubbies arrive. So, I am planning around that a bit. My DH wants to spend most of his few days in Epcot & MK, but he doesn't want to go to the princess breakfasts (done them before and doesn't have too many days this trip)...so we aren't spending too much time in MK or Epcot before Daddy & Grandpa arrive, but we want to do a princess breakfast!

Thanks for the feedback though -- normally I would never waste that much time, but this is a longer trip and a very different trip - just taking it easy with Grandma along.

Thanks again all!
