MK TO MCO

so if we decide to not take the ME back to the airport on departure day and leave for the airport from MK instead I have a couple of questions:
1. Uber and lyft pick up at the transportation center ,is that correct? my other thought is walk to the contemporary and get lyft from there(probably less time consuming)
2. how long to get to MCO from MK so we give ourselves enough time, we have tsa pre check so getting there 2 to 3 hours is too early for us.
3. we are also flying on a weekday evening if that makes a difference our flight is 7:15pm
4. do the minnie vans drive to mco? and if so does anyone have a cost?
5. where do the minnie vans pick up?

Yes Minnie vans go to MCO the cost is $150 one way. I would catch an Uber from the Contemporary. Will you have carry on luggage. If so you will need to check them at the Contemporary in order to visit the park. Don't forget to allow 20 minutes to retrieve your luggage from bell services in case they are busy.. I would leave at least 2 hours and 45 minutes before your flight leaves. Its about a 40 minute ride to the airport. This leaves you 2 hour should anything go wrong like an accident on the highway or the Uber person fails to show up. If you are flying with Frontier or Spirit you will not be able to use RAC so you will have to check your bags at the airport.

I leave my suitcase with Guest Relations at the park. It lets me get it and go anywhere I want to pick up an Uber. Just in case my plans change on the fly.

I do ......I’m annoying to some other the guests. I won’t lie. From Epcot, HS or AK I go straight to MCO from the Park.

Yes, Uber or Lyft can, and will, pick you up at the Contemporary.

I think the drive is typically 30-40 minutes. However, you will be traveling during rush hour, so I'd allow an hour of drive time just to be safe.

You'd rather not be too early, but you can't be too late.
