MK to HDDR timing!

We have a 6:15 reservation at HDDR on Saturday 2/24. What time would you leave MK to head to HDDR? Planning to take the ferry from MK. Thanks!

I'd leave MK at 4:45. Take the boat.

it depends on where you are leaving from in MK. I would be at the Fort Wilderness boat dock at 5pm. that allows for just missing the boat and having to wait for next boat. it is about a 20 minute ride over plus a 5 minute walk from the dock to HDDR

I would be at the boat dock no later than 5:15 pm. That gives you some leeway if the boat isn't there immediately. The boat ride is about 10 minutes (we just did this on Monday). If you are early, you can check in and walk around the stable, play on the playground, etc. They open the doors right at 6:15 pm. Even if you are a little late, it's ok. They serve salad and bread as soon as you're seated, but the actual show will start around 6:30 pm.

Leave MK earlier and take a walk around a few of the close loops to HDDR a check out the campers decorations. Or take time after the show to check a few of the loops.

We found when we went to HDDR last year, we did not need to arrive early because they do not open the doors until the scheduled time and there were hundreds of people just standing around.

We loved it. The show was super funny and the food was really good.
