MK to Epcot Monorail

We have a late lunch reservation at Via Napoli and will need to hop over from MK. My question is this.... Does the Epcot monorail run all day or have specific hours, and if you are park hopping do you have to wait until 2:00 to get on the monorail to hop over?

The monorail heading to Epcot will begin running an hour before Epcot opens. You can ride the monorail to Epcot before 2 pm. However, you will not be allowed into Epcot until 2 pm - with a park hopper ticket, of course.
