Since there is no direct way to get from the MK to DTD , your best bet is to take the monorail from the MK to the Contemporary - which is the first stop - then take a bus from the Contemporary to DTD.
Melissa is right -- it is going to involve an intermediate stop from MK to DTD. My worst bus experience involved a trip to DTD from the Boardwalk Inn. 58 minutes to travel just a few miles! If you have a car, this would be the time to use it.
How about the bus to Saratoga and walk over. Get off at Congress if you're eating at the Marketplace or the main pool and cut through the Turf club and over the walkway towards Cirque if you're eating at the Westside.

This sounds like the best plan to me. Buses from MK to the resorts will be more dependable than buses from the resorts to DTD. You will still have a good walk to get to DTD, or you can take a boat. There are two boats that stop on opposite ends of the lake, depending on whether you want to arrive at Marketplace or West Side.
