MK to DD?

What is the best way to get from the MK upon park closing to Downtown Disney? I need to meet up with my husband there after the park closes, and I'm not sure whether to monorail to the TTC and get a bus there (do they run to DD from the TTC?) or whether it would be quicker to monorail to one of the resorts and pick up a bus there? Which place (TTC or resort) would have more buses running in a timely fashion?? I don't want to be waiting for too long for a bus in the evening with a 4 year old....

The closest bus will be at the TTC. Take the monorail to the TTC, then walk around the corner to the bus stops. The DD buses run about every 20 minutes from there.
