Going from MK to the Contemporary on the monorail, is that a direct route? Or is the Contemporary to MK the direct route? One of the two ways go to the Poly, GF, etc. doesn't it?

Do they ever turn down a request to ride in the front of the monorail? I know sometimes its already occupied but if you are willing to wait is it pretty much guaranteed?

Thanks!

the monorail goes from mk-cont-ttc-poly-gf-mk. i'm not sure if they allow riders in the front on this route but i know they do from ttc to epcot--we've done it twice and its a great thrill!! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

they allow riders in the front on every route but be prepared it is not easy to get up there. even if you wait you have no way of knowing if the people in the front are getting off where you are getting on. also sometimes there are people already waiting on board and the conductor will go get them so you literally could be waiting all day! :flower:

Oh dear! That's good to know!

I remember once when we got up front from the Contemporary the CM said something about it being Poly's monorail (or something like that) so if we got to Poly and someone was waiting to ride up front we'd have to get off. Has anyone experienced something like this? We didn't have to get off (so I assume no one was waiting.)

Yes,

On the Resort route, there usually are three monorails, each having a different color. Each color is associated with a particular resort. So, if you are at the GF for example, if you board the GF color monorail, you could do a complete loop without being kicked off ;). If you got on any other monorail, you could be bumped when the monorail got to that resort.
