MK to Chef Mickey's

We have a PS for Dinner at CM. We are planning to go from MK after the fireworks.

How much time should we allocate for travelling from MK to CM immediately after the fireworks.

Does the monorail travel counter clockwise so the CR is the first stop?

Is it possible to walk from MK to CR? If so, how long would it take?

CR is the first monorail stop when coming from the MK. I have read that it is a 5-10 minute walk, but haven't done it myself.

we have done the walk and it is only 5 mins.(take elevator to 4th floor, once insidethe cr) faster then the monorail if the monorail is croweded after fireworks. if you take the monorail remember to take the one that is for resort guest only, first stop cr. go down the escalator. enjoy, its always our favorite.

We were wondering the same thing about travel from Wishes fireworks to CM. We have a 7:30 PS at CM? Can we make it in time? If not, what is the earliest we should make out PS at CM after the Wishes fireworks?

Hi ALL!
Depending on where you are in MK watching the fireworks and how tired you are from the day, I suggest you walk to the Contemporary.
We used to take the kids to the local mall and practice walking the mall non stop to get them in the pace and distance that would have to be covered from MK to CR.
Ask for a window seat at CM ahead of time which has a view of the lagoon, GF and MK, not the window where the monorail rolls over your head unless the kids would get a kick out of it.
Have an extra roll of film onhand for your dinner!

If you decide to take the monorail to the Contemporary I think you need to allow about 15 minutes. Everything takes a bit more time than you predict. We ate at two character breakfasts last week and were 5-15 minutes late for both...........but thankfully the CM's were very forgiving and didn't think anything of it. Enjoy the dinner!
