MK Sunday mar.3 or Tuesday mar.5?

Not sure if there will be much of a crowd difference on these 2 dates and can't decide and need to book 30 day fp soon!

I have EMM booked for both but will drop one. I read Sundays are good because travelers are leaving. The Tuesday is Mardis Gras; not sure if that matters.

Any opinions/advice would be appreciated.

Why don't you base your decision on how your FPs work out? See which day the FP work in your favor and do MK on that day.

I personally don’t think it matters, I’d go with whatever fits best in your schedule.

Trying to time days of the week based on typical arrival/departure dates is hard at a place like WDW where there is not one single ‘typical’ travel pattern that is large enough to sway crowds. Just too many people beginning / ending trips every day of the week.

Thanks; I'm also thinking it doesn't really matter but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

FP availability won't be an issue as with EMM I won't be going for 7dmr or PP fastpass.

FWIW Sun had the lowest average wait times of all days of the week for the first half of 2018. That said, it was only an average of 5 min shorter than Sat which had the longest average waits of the week. So it doesn't matter much but you have a better chance of having a slightly less crowded Sun. EasyWDW has a post on it that I could dig up if you're interested. But basically pick what works best unless it doesn't matter and then pick Sun.
