We are going to be able to sneak one full park day in on our trip this year and have picked MK on Thursday July 1 (it also happens to be early entry...we are staying two nights at POP). I just saw in the unofficial guide to avoid MK on Thursday because of this. However our plan is to go early leave around noon, swim, nap, come back around 4 or 5. Never have been to MK this late in a summer. Will I avoid long lines with this plan (plus taking advantage of PastPass) or is the park just too crowded on a Thursday in July? I always heard that Saturday is the day to avoid MK...
Also, can I buy single day tickets at the ticket window a day in advance so I can avoid those lines in the morning? I can't seem to find that info anywhere. We will be switching from the Portofino at Universal on Wednesday and going to the POP value resort. Or better yet, can I buy single day tix at the hotel?
