Today I realized how much I wanted to do a MK shoot. So I was wondering did most of you have a good experience with it, and who was your photographer. Also can you get the picture on a dvd or is there only the so many prints option?

Pictures would be lovely as well as who your photographer was.:flower3:

I LOVE my MK pictures. For me it was worth EVERY penny!! Our photographer was Amy and she was amazing to work with!
We had an escape wedding and we had Randy Chapman for our photographer. We gave up the prints for our MK and EPCOT pictures and purchased the CD for $395 (I think that is what it was).

Here are some examples of my pictures.

Did I mention how AMAZING Amy was???

Wow those pictures are so beautiful! If only I can convince my fiance that its worth it! Thanks for showing me all the pics!

So during the shoot do they let you pick any locations or is it pretty standard?
Also to set it up would you go through Rosie or your WC

Thanks so much for posting those! They are gorgeous!

Did they offer you the option to take pictures on the rides?

Thank You!
You can put in a request. I wanted pictures taken on main street but they had stuff going on that we couldnt. But I did get the shots facing down Main Street. I set it up with Rosie.

I was not offered but then again I did not ask. You could ask but they can not guarantee anything.

Those pictures are beautiful. She did a great job. :)

Thank YOU!

The locations are pretty standards...castle, CRT, BBB, inside the castle, back of castle, and fantasyland if there is time.

This is something I'm currently working with changing for mine. We want more around the park. I was told the photographer picks the locations, but seeing as it's my $1000 I think I should pick.

What is CRT and BBB?

I tried to post these at work today, but got too busy!

Here are our faves from our MK shoot...we had Regina and we both LOVED her!

We didn't want the carousel pics, so I asked for Main Street. They definitely can't guarantee anything but the default locations because the photographer doesn't know what is being worked on/cleaned/painted at the time until you arrive...

Aww you look so beautiful!
I notice that yours were in the day, what time of year was it, and when was it?

Wow, I usually hear bad things about MK shoots but all the shots posted in this thread are breathtaking. You should feel very pleased!

I keep going back and forth on the MK shoot. We'd love to it, but it's so much money to add on, especially for an Escape wedding. But it's also a one-time chance, and money can simply be saved up again! Right? Right?! :rotfl:

Right!!! I will just feed my new hubby ramen for a month. LOL. Maybe mac and cheese if he is lucky. :rotfl:

Well, if it helps you save some money, technically it's not a one-time chance - once you've had a Disney wedding, you can do the MK shoot as often as you like (or can afford :lmao:).
:thumbsup2

Wow, interesting, thanks! That takes some of the pressure off at least, if we can't squeeze it into the wedding budget it's nice to know we can do it later. Provided my dress still fits whenever 'later' winds up being! :rotfl:

It's so nice to see some great photos coming out of the MK shoots! :thumbsup2 I had absolutely NO editing or post processing done to my images and, frankly, I'll be photoshopping the heck out of them to make them decent. (When I get the high res images next year.) We had Ty and he was a disappointment. He lectured us for not using Disney for our wedding photos and then he didn't seem to care this was a special thing for us. On top of that, Disney brought me the wrong bouquet so I was without it for 1/2 the shoot. That was $75 well spent...

Our shoot was @6am. We started a little late though (I think it was like 6:10 before we got to the MK) so we missed the dark and sunrise shots.

Carrie, seriously??!! I would totally take more pics in a few years!! I would love to be able to get some pics in the dark as well as in places we didn't have time to shoot (like more on Main Street maybe!)
It is a lot of money, but maybe for a special anniversary or something we could do it, right? ;)

So I talked to my WC today and she said that Dec 15 the day after my wedding a shoot is available at 5am. I told her to reserve it, but I still haven't convinced my DF. Haha. Had to do it just in case! :rotfl:

It's always better to add something and remove it later. We currently have a 3 park shoot booked, but may cut it back to a two park depending on our budget.

That's so cool that you can do a Bridal Portrait session long after your wedding. It would be a very cool idea for a 5 or 10 year anniversary. I know a vow renewal would be hard to talk DFi into years from now, but photos I could possible talk him into.
