MK shoot ?

Soooo My DF was reading in the booklet we got that the photographer gets to pick out your 12 photos....Is that true for the people that have dont the MK shoot? I think that is kinda silly that you pay 1000 bucks and you dont even get to pick out your photos.....

Also i'm kinda upset with our planner she wont call us back!!!!!! And we get to set up our wedding next month and we need a bigger room.

People seem to get mixed messages on this one. I told our Disney photography contact right from the start that we would be selecting the images, and she had no problem with that. We got a form with our proofs that we could fill out to select the ones we wanted.

But other people have been told that only the photographer can select them. I guess it's one of those battles you have to pick...

we couldnt select ours and we asked too, we even had a toilet in one of ours!!! we complained

We were able to select ours. I didn't have to tell them either. They assumed I would be. But, as soon as the pics were up on the website, I emailed my contact at DPS and told her which images we wanted.

Im having the Epcot shoot and weve been told that the photographer picks ours too.....

Would also rather select ourselves, might take it up with them nearer the time!

A-ha! Both of you who have been told you can't pick your photos are from the UK. When you live outside North America, Disney Photography usually tries to get you all your products (like the folio of prints that comes with the MK shoot) before you leave the US so they don't have to pay to ship them to you. By selecting your prints themselves, they can expedite the process in order to get your folio ready before you leave.

Thank You!! Yeah maybe i'll tell them up front that we want to pick them out! lol I wouldnt want a toilet in mine i would be complaining too!!!

After reading the boards, I asked after the wedding to pick our photos. I was able to to do that. But it was last min, so start asking right away.

Also you should or at least we did, get all your photos in 4x6. 12 are in a cute book and the rest are just loose. We also ordered the DVD. Yeah its pricey and I hated paying that much, but the castle photos was part of my childhood dream and I knew years from now we wouldn't order it. So we had planned to buy the DVD from the beginning and had it in our budget. And I am very glad we bough the DVD.

Ahh now that makes sense....yes we will push it with them so that we can pick our own photos!

We have also selected the DVD, but it was an option to have either the prints OR the DVD so I dont think we will get all of the 4x6 prints as well as the 12 in the album?

We have also requested a black and white large canvas portrait to be done, this will have to be shipped to us back in the UK, along with another album that we have chosen!! We have been nice to have them with us to bring back...but suppose you cant have it all eh.....

Still very excited about it.....i like it that none of the guests can go...will just be me and my new husband!!
