MK Rider Switch eligible rides

I am trying to set up my fastpass/rider switch combo strategy for our 1 day in MK. However I am finding some conflicting information on which rides are actually eligible for rider switch.

Disney's website seems clear that only the rides with height requirements (Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, etc) offer rider switch. With a 1 and 3 year old, we won't be riding any of these. However several disney planning websites claim several other rides including Peter Pan and Pirates of the Caribbean (both of which we will be riding) offer rider switch.

Has anyone been recently that can confirm whether Peter Pan, Pirates, and others not listed on the Disney website offer rider switch?

Any ride with a height restriction offers Rider Swap.
If there are others, the RS will not be offered consistently.
Depends on the CMs working when you arrive at that time.

You can pretty much take listings on the WDW website with a grain of salt.

Thanks!

I guess that means I need to just get the fastpass for each ride for all 6 of us instead of just half the group to try and double our fast passes with rider switch.

If you aren't riding anything with a height restriction, you don't need rider switch. It's not supposed to be "free double fastpasses."

You could certainly do one of the height restriction rides at rope drop - half the party rides & gets RS, the other half rides later. Short wait, backpocket FP for later!

You won't need them. Get your FP for everyone and you'll have no issue getting more after you finish the first three. As soon as you tap in for your 3rd FP you can book #4.

Curious why you wouldn't want to take your little ones on Peter Pan - mine always loved that ride.

The three year old will be riding it. It was the 1 year old (just turned 1) we'd be looking to switch for.

Mine, also! (I love it, too!)

You can certainly ask, but since the ride permits lap babies, I wouldn't imagine you'll have much luck. There's always pixie dust though!

Yup, mine rode them all they were allowed on at 4 mos, 11 mos, 12 mos, 14 mos ......... I would see no reason for them to offer RS and I think they'll just view it as trying to collect extra FP+.

The system was developed to offer RS is to help those families on rides with height restrictions and long lines .... before FP+. It is less necessary now with FP+.

THIS^ We roll that 4th one all day long at MK usually walking from one attraction to the next.

I have asked for, and recieved RS passes for many attractions with no height restrictions when DS(2) was sleeping in his stroller. I can’t recall ever being denied one.

Not saying this is the rule that all CMs follow. Only sharing my own personal experience.
