MK RIDE Swap Progress/Mailing Thread-7/20--Due date is TODAY!!

Finished more tonight, I only have one group left. I'm really hoping to finish these this week.

Just giving this a BUMP--we are now 3 weeks from our due date! If I receive everyone's packages on time, I can get them out to you before the end of July. I would really like to do that, so that they are mailed before I go back to work!

Everyone's stuff looks awesome so far! Please check in and let us know how you are doing with your items!

I'm going.. I only have 2 or 3 more to go... so I'll do those tomorrow and Sat... Sunday is out because of DH's surprise party..but if I continue to work on these and sneak breaks in to get the party ready he won't clue in.. We still have him snowed!!!

ETA: I only have 2 sets of elements left!! Yeah!!! Now to whip the Enchanted Tiki Room border into shape!!

I'm gonna head off and do some more now. The World Cup matches keep getting in the way as there's up to 4 a day! It's been on the news today that it's actually illegal to fly the England flag, not that anyone's taking a blind bit of notice!!!

Queenie, Dumb question buy why??? We have 5 British soccer coaches/players over here with us this week teaching our kids soccer camp.. They are with British Challenger... They have been awesome!!!! They are a lot of fun!!! Anyway, why can't you fly the flag??
Ok, off to set the tv to flip to World Cup.. I have been designated the commentator for the soccer camp coaches.. can you believe they want me to remember who all scores.. off to get my note book paper too!!! I don't want to let them down!!!

He played up here (Indiana) didn't he????
Yes, I can even tell you what some of the plays are called..and I can tell you about offsides, and I can tell you the rules for our league! I even coached once... I assist with DH but now that all 5 kids are in sports I don't do that much any more!! I can't seem to get the other coaches around town to coordinate their schedules to have all my kids practicing at the same time!

DH did play in Indiana and also in WV (they moved just before his senior year).

It's just illegal, no idea why! We are technically allowed to fly them up a flagpole but no one here has such things. It is illegal to fly them out of a window or a car, like everyone is doing, without applying to the government for permission which takes months to be granted. There's thousands up and flying at the moment though, especially with the possibility of us being knocked out of the tournament tomorrow

Wow!!! I didn't realize that.. We have our flags flying from everything.. and I've actually seen a family who lived in England for a while..they have one on their car... thanks for clarifying!!!

I'm doing great.. I don't like my Stitch's Great Escape.. so I'm trying to figure it out..and I'm still fighting with the borders for the Enchanted Tiki Room.. I hope to have them mailed out in the next week or two.. I'll keep you posted...
