MK restaurants on MVMCP nights

I believe MK closes at 7pm on MVMCP nights (for those without party tickets), and that you need a party ticket to go on rides/attractions.

Can we still eat (and shop) past 7:00 (provided we are in the park prior to 7)?

I'd like to make ADR's for Crystal Palace dinner and most of the nights of our trip are party nights.

Disney will never stop you from spending money I am not sure about the restaurants. To be safe make your ADR for 6:45. They dont allow you into the lands. Basically people check tickets in the hub at entrance to each land. Main st is open as long as you are already in the park.

I just saw another thread in the Theme Park Strategies section, and apparently it's a hot topic - people annoyed about non-party guests still in the park and how CM's have been more vigilant about asking people to leave (even from shops).

We hadn't meant to stay for the parade or FW, and I had forgotten about the special party edition items at the shops. I was just thinking we could do a little shopping on our way out down Main Street after dinner, especially if we planned it for our first night at the World.
