MK question

When would you go to MK?

We are going the MNSSHP on Sunday Oct 16th.

We were thinking of going to MK again on Monday or Thursday.

Thursday the park will close early due to MNSSHP, which we WILL NOT be attending.

We really wanted to return to MK towards the end of trip & we leave Saturday morning that is why we are thinking about going on Thursday but we didn't know if we should just go on Monday so that we have a little bit more time at MK than we would on Thurs.

When would you go?

Personally, and from what I have read on some of the threads and in the books, Wednesdays are good.

Now in the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World book, it says that the Sunday (October 16th) and Tuesday (October 18th) are the preferred days.

The cool thing is . . . this book catagorizes the crowd level for various times of the year. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest crowd level, it looks like that the week you are there each day is a 2. Not bad!

We have all of our other days planned out already & the only days we can go to MK is Mon or Thurs. That's why I was picking from only those 2 days.

I usually go toward the end of the week. When they had Thursday AM EMH, I would always go then versus the Monday one. It makes sense to me that the general "crowds" want to hit MK first, so go Monday or Tuesday.

Yep, Thursday sounds good! I believe I read somewhere, several times, that Mondays are not good to go to the MK. I still think that since both days are deemed a "2", you should be just fine!

I actually went right as MK opened in the morning and got on 4-5 rides before an hour was up. That is the trick: be there when the park opens!
