Good morning, all. Apologize in advance for the long post....:mic:

Headed to WDW January 20-27 with 5 day park hopper passes. Family consists of 3 adults (one who will be using a scooter) and 3 kids ages 6, 4 and 4. We are planning 3 days at MK, one at AK and one partial? at Epcot. Since we had to reschedule due to Irma, we were given anytime FP for our previous 4 days we had booked in September, which means we have anytimes at MK for Pirates, Haunted Mansion, BTMR, Peter Pan, Space Mtn, Tomorrowland Speedway, Small World, Enchanted Tales w/Belle and Buzz. Not sure how the two little kids will react to meeting the characters, so, we are focused on meals with them with a few chance opportunities in the park. Anyhow, please take a look at this plan and let me know what you think. We plan on hitting adventureland and frontierland on the first visit, tomorrowland on the second and fantasyland on the third...with a couple of overlaps. We're not really interested in riding as much as possible, more interested in a nice relaxed first visit...

Your Sunday plan is pretty ambitious, perhaps too much so. On paper, it *should* work, but it will all depend on crowds, bathroom breaks, general breaks, breakdowns etc... You need to allow at least 30-45 minutes for all of the M&Gs you have planned, especially Peter Pan since he's really popular. If you don't want to wait for him, you basically need to be staked out about 15-20 minutes before he starts. Jungle Cruise also is a really popular ride and can build a line fairly quickly, so you'll be waiting in line for awhile in the afternoon. Tom Sawyer Island is great, highly recommend, but you can drop an hour there easily, if you actually really allow the kids to explore the island, especially with the transportation time.

For Tuesday - Speedway builds a long line fairly fast. Rope drop this after Space Mountain. Monsters Inc. can also have quite a wait time. Chances are not you won't be able to get all you have planned done before your 11:45 reservation. You could probably squeeze a couple things from your morning in after your M&G with Mickey, before the parade. Again, allow a good 30 minutes for each of the M&Gs.

For Thursday - Again, too ambitious for the morning. You won't get that all done before your Tomorrowland Speedway FP+. Enchanted Tales takes around 45 minutes by the time you wait in line, get in, do the show, have the photos done, get out etc... So, you're going to need to move some stuff around to after lunch. Even with FP+, you always want to plan to wait in line 10-15 minutes. You may walk on, or only have a 5 minute wait, but it's not smart to plan on it. You need to allow walking time too between rides, snack breaks, drink breaks, "my legs are sore" breaks. On this day I would plan on doing lunch after 7D, and then doing Enchanted Tales, then your Tomorrowland Speedway FP+, then go back for Princess Hall, etc... Again, allow 30 minutes for meeting Ariel (at least), and probably more like 45 minutes for Princess Hall.

You will be surprised how much you can get done without fastpasses when you show up at rope drop. Here is an example of a day we recently did (with an 8 am opening)

Walked in about 820

Pooh ride
HM
Pirates
Jungle cruise
magic carpets
tree house/tiki room (party split up)
Pirate tutorial (awesome if your kids love pirates, my 5 year old was picked to participate and it made his day, the guy who does Jack Sparrow is great)
BTM with FP (2x because of rider swap)
And we made it to our 1130 LTT lunch reservation on time.

I would:

Day 1:

HM
Pirates
Jungle cruise
Carpets
Meet characters or pirate tutorial (first one is at 1030)
BTM (with FP)
Lunch
PP (with FP)
jamboree
tree house
*You might be able to catch the parade from this side of the park too)
tom sawyer island (By doing the rides first you can be more relaxed with time for things like this)
meet any characters (some of the characters you have listed are not regular characters unless you have the schedules and know when they will be there, like mary poppins and alice)
I'd save the anytime FP for the afternoon and let kids decide what rides they want to go back on)
Dinner

Day 2:

Looks good, but agree with PP about doing speedway first or using the FP for that instead of SM
Since you have so many FP I would always use a FP for a M&G as those lines can be long

Day 3: Probably won't need FP for Ariel ride that early

Try to stay at least 1 night for Fireworks. They are amazing and the highlight of our last trip for my 5 year old. You have plenty of time to take it all in!
