MK plans - now with SOTMK :) Please help!

We have on MK day. I led a brief family meeting tonight to discuss MK plans b/c FP+ day starts at 11:00 central time tomorrow night for us.

DD14 cares about rides - specifically Space
DS11 is eager to try SOTMK
I want to ride HM, BTMRR and Splash as a family
DH is just eager to go and support as needed when we might have to split up.
Everything else will be icing on the cake.
The new mine train will be open and if I can score a FP+ for it - wow! If not, life will go on...

We will hit morning EMH BRIGHT AND EARLY so we can be near the front when the park opens at 8.

- DD and I will go straight to Space, which I'm thinking should be a walk on. Maybe we could even ride a few times in a row easily?
- Since DS wants to do Sorcerors, I want that to be a priority and it sounds like on crowded days (this day will be crowded) there can be backups. Sooo...even though I've read it's good to do it when the rides are busy, if this is his number one priority, should he and my husband start right at the beginning of the day? Will it be open during EMH or will we need to wait until 9?

That is my DS's favorite thing to do to. We work it in throughout the day. 1-2 hours in the morning and 1-2 hours in the evening. We split up when he wants to do it. Either my DH or I will go with him. In the beginning we all went with him - to make him feel good.

We were there in February and in the middle of August. In August the most he had to wait was 5 minutes.

that's great to hear! So it sounds like it might be smart to start there in the morning...I wonder if the firehouse intro is open at EMH or if we need to wait until 9?

Read the above link - yes it is opened during EMH. Your son will love it. My son looks to get more cards on EBAY. He loves playing it. Also Agent P in EPCOT.
