Hello! I've been grinding over touring plans based on FP+ and dining plans as well as my family's reluctance to stay in a park late if we go to rope drop each day. We've decided to break up our first day which is Monday into a morning and then an evening. Thursday is our last day before our cruise on Friday so we don't want to be there late. I don't think I'm missing anything but want to see if there's an obvious bad idea. Used TP to generate these. The 2nd line number is the wait time.

If there are no FPs online for an attraction, are they done for the day? We have FP for 7DMT for my morning session but I heard it was cool to go on at night as well. Those are not currently available. I can't wait to be done with this part!

MK – Day 1 Monday

8:10 Breakfast at CRT

1) Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin 9:38am 4

2) Space Mountain 9:49am 28 (Only DH so this time should be shorter)

3) Tomorrowland Speedway 10:29am 11

4) Peter Pan's Flight
Uses your FastPass+ reservation. 10:49am 8

5) it's a small world 11:01am 11

6) Mickey's PhilharMagic 11:28am 3

7) Meet Cinderella and Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall (Booked before ADR for breakfast; DD12 still wants Raphunzel)
Uses your FastPass+ reservation. 11:44am 9

8) Enchanted Tales with Belle 12:05pm 33 Figured wouldn't be bad waiting for this between two FP attractions.

9) Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Uses your FastPass+ reservation. 1:15pm 10

Go back to hotel for lunch/pool. Will need to grab FP for one of these.... may need to skip the parade as a family compromise

Evening – 7pm return

1) Meet Tinker Bell at Town Square Theater 7:03pm 16

2) The Magic Carpets of Aladdin 7:30pm 10

3) Seven Dwarfs Mine Train 7:49pm 47 Hoping for FP or may skip. Not a priority though.

4) Main Street Electrical Parade 8:45pm 15

5) Jungle Cruise 9:23pm 5

6) Splash Mountain 9:41pm 13

7) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 10:14pm 6

Pretty much. Some may become available as other guests cancel, but none are held in reserve by Disney.

OH! I have a FP for A&E at 6:50PM. I'm hoping the 36 minute wait is really correct so I can forget about the FP. Is it possible for me to wait in the line while DD12 goes on the first ride?

Those times are a guide, please don't take predicted 36-minute waits or attraction arrival times listed to the minute as particularly accurate. If you want to see A&E and have a FP, don't touch that FP.

I'm definitely holding onto it just in case! I've also heard A&E might be on the cruise but I'm afraid to totally trust that!

For Thursday I think you need to go to A&E first, and even then, 36 min might be optimistic.

Your plan looks good, I have some comments:

Day 1: The earlier DH gets on Space Mountain the shorter the line will be. Maybe send DH to SM first thing while you do Buzz, then do Buzz again together. I would also move Belle earlier, after PP, then IASW and Philharmagic after Cindy. Definitely grab a 4th FP before pool break. You have almost 0% chance of getting a same day FP for 7DMT. If you want another ride on 7DMT at night, I would wait as late as possible close to park closing. Note wait times at night near closing are often greatly exaggerated. On last trip, posted wait 40 minutes standby for 7DMT just before closing, we were on the ride in 11 minutes.

Day 2: If you decide to get A&E early, that will enable you to modify your 6:50pm FP earlier and get additional FP midday. But if that's what you are going to do, I would absolutely go to A&E first thing at rope drop. Pooh line won't get long right away.

Thanks for your suggestions. Will we be able to do Buzz two times in a row on Monday AM given it's not EMH time?

We may not even do Monsters Inc or Country Bear Jamboree. DD12 has never wanted to do them but I threw them if because of the heat.

I've commented on your other posts, so why skip this one? :cutie:

I agree with mesaboy. You need to hold those times TP has given you with a VERY LOOSE hand, and expect to get behind and have to either lose something or stay later.

For example: you have 30 minutes to get into Monsters, Inc, see the show, get out of the theater, and walk all the way over to Country Bear. I just don't see that happening unless you are running from place to place. Tomorrowland Speedway on your first day...you have 20 min to get through a very slow moving line and ride and then get over to PP. That's not going to happen.

And DH being the only one of your party to ride Space Mtn, doesn't make that line any shorter. There is no single rider line, so he'll have to go through the line and wait his turn whether you're with him or not.

I'm really not trying to rain on your parade; I just want you to be prepared for things to take more time than TP has given you and to be ready/able to make adjustments on the fly.

Thanks sharonabe! Guess I picked the wrong software to use. I appreciate you giving me a heads up! Monsters and Country Bear on not a priority but if it's really hot, I wanted to have a place to go. I still need to pack and I leave tomorrow afternoon! Been working all day. UGH!

Philharmagic stuck out to me (but I could be reading your plan incorrectly), the show itself is 12 minutes and it feels like you are in the holding room forever too.

OH! My Cinderella FP expires at 11:50. I'll make a note of what time we get to Philharmagic. May need to do that after Cindy. Thanks.

The fact that you are getting there at rope drop, and have a plan, puts you ahead of 95% of the guests visiting WDW. At this point the main tip is to be flexible. As others have said, there's no way of knowing exactly how long lines are going to be until you actually get there, you might be able to do more, or maybe less.

You aren't going to see Wishes??? I think you can get everything done that you wanna do, but maybe not at the specific times. You have to take into account walking from attraction to attraction, etc.

I'd like to see Wishes but my DH doesn't want to deal with the crowds leaving. I've made a Kona Café ADR for one night so we can watch the fireworks from the Poly Beach.
