I'm considering this and I have a few questions. What do you do for hair and make up? That might be silly, but wouldn't it have to be at like 4 or 5 am for professionals? Do they even work at those hours? lol

And what about timing? How flexible is it? I really like the pictures that are done when it's still dark or right as the sun is coming up, could I request that?

Any help is greatly appreciated! :goodvibes

As for hair and makeup ... most of the professionals that are used to doing disney weddings like Patricia Lejuene or Ana are willing to come early in the morning!! Our stylist is coming at 3:45 the next morning when we are getting picked up at 5 am for our shoot!! Some charge an extra 50 dollar fee but it is definitely worth it!! Basically they give you the definite time they will be there the next morning depending on how long it takes the wedding day! As for Disney being flexible there are usually two times they offer shoots like ours was either 530 or 630 I believe it just depends on the season!

Tricia answered all your questions :goodvibes but I wanted to add that the person who books the MK shoots has a schedule of sunrise times for the year, so they can tell you how much dark vs. light there will be on the day and time you pick.

Be ready early. Our photographer was early, gave us a call to let us know he was at our hotel early. So it worked out well.

Our pick up was for 6:00 got picked up at 5:30 and we rushed to the castle and we just got the dark lighting before the sun came up. All you need is one good photo.:)

Being early helped.

I didn't want to bother having someone come to the room that early so I bought a hair piece that looked sort of how I did my hair the day of and just played around until I got it to look alright. They don't shoot many if any close ups so I wasn't too concerned. Now looking at the photos no one can tell they weren't done the same day as the wedding itself!

Haha, that's awesome. I was kind of worried about it actually, just because I know I'll never be able to do anything with my hair myself. Thanks for the help. :goodvibes

Thanks for the help! I'm beginning to think Disney should pay you, because I know in my case you've saved them at least three phone calls or e-mails! :worship:

Wow, that is amazing. I'm going to have my hair down, so it's more than likely not an option for me. But that's so clever! And I lovelovelove that picture, it's gorgeous! :)
