MK photo shoot?

So I have booked the MK photo shoot and I have a question. How flexible are they about using other locations besides the castle and the merry go round? I am a huge Haunted Mansion fan and I even got engaged there. I would love to have some pics there. I have heard that some photographers will do this. Anyone have any experience with this?

When I booked mine I asked if we could take pics in front of the mansion. They said I would be able to, except it will be down for refurb and will have walls around it. Not so attractive! I asked for pictures on Main Street instead of the Carousel. They said no problem! Just ask your planner or Rosie. I'm sure they would set it up. GL!

I hope you get your pics infront of it too. B&W ones there would look awesome! I think the walls are coming down in Sept.

We weren't big fans of the carosel, my DH has a bad memory of it being a kid. He got sick..lol So when the photographer picked us up on the way we asked if we could maybe shoot pictures on main street instead and told him the story about the carosel. We said as long as nothing was going on he can. Well Mainstreet was being cleaned and worked on when we got there so we went to the train station instead, the pictures came out great. It doesn't hurt to ask but don't get you heart set on a certain location because sometimes they have no control of where they can go depending on the circumstances. THere is alot of action going on before the parks open. People cleaning, checking lights, touching up building with paint...ect.

We've got our fingers crossed for HM as well.

The carosel isn't really our thing, and although I've seen some great shots of other brides, I'd prefer something else.

Well I spoke to my coordinator and she said the same thing. She said to ask the photographer and that they try to accomodate the request. I really hope it works out!

I'm hoping to get pictures of us around Dumbo instead. While I love the carousel Dumbo has more meaning to me. If that's not possible I like the idea of Main Street! I never would have thought of that.
