MK Photo Shoot Question

I am not planning on having a Disney Wedding. But Since we decided to have a Destination wedding in Jamaica, we were talking about having a Disneymoon. If we Disneymoon, are we still eligible for the MK/Epcot photo session? What special perks do you get for having a Disneymoon, other than the wearing of ears and Just Married buttons?

I just really want a Magic Kingdom photo shoot. If there are any other photo sessions, I would love to hear about those as well. Please let me know any information you have.

Unfortunately the MK photo session is exclusively for couples who married at Disney.

The ears and buttons are available to anyone. You can purchase the ears at almost any resort or park gift shop and you can get the buttons at guest services in any of the parks.

You can contact Disney Photographic Services at 1-407-827-1349 to see what packages they could offer you. I do know that you can schedule the Honeymoon package listed below:

Honeymoon or Engagement Portrait Session - $310

Photo Session at your choice of any Walt Disney World® Theme Park or Resort Hotel (Park admission not included)
A twenty (20) print 4” x 6” white Disney-themed album chosen by photographer
A Contact Proof Book
4” x 6” keepsake prints of your Portrait Session
Casual attire is required and comfortable walking shoes are recommended

(These sessions will be scheduled from park opening until 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Session does not include admission to the park. Casual attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.)

As for other "perks" there are certain elements included in the wedding package (i.e. annual passes) but that's about it.

You can try to maximize the "pixie dust" on your Disneymoon by making sure you tell everyone when booking your room or your dining reservations that you will be on your honeymoon (they usually ask anyway). You can also remind them when you check in.

Wearing the ears and/or buttons may get you free desserts or special seating on some rides or at some restaurants...but that's not a guarantee. You will most definitely get a lot of smiles and warm wishes from CM's and guests alike!
