I have a feeling this is a post thats been on many times before so i apologise, but trying the search brings up soooooo many threads (not just from the weddings forum) that i was losing the will to live trying to find what i wanted.

I've seen lots of people talk about the MK photo sessions and wanted to find out more details - how it works, when you can have it (i.e. morning or evening), costs etc........

any help anyone can give would be very much appreciated.

Thanks :)

p.s. do you know if you can go into the park in your wedding attire and take your own photo's? i know you can't go on rides in your dress etc, but wondered if this may be an option to help save costs.......?

No, we are not allowed in the parks with wedding attire.

The bridal park shoots are done in the morning before the parks open. You can do it at any of the parks. It's $1100 for the Magic Kingdom and $660 for any of the other ones. The sessions usually last about an hour.

that's such a shame as think it would be great fun to be there in your gown for a while. guess its probably health & safety.....and a way to get some extra money from brides

when you say, before the park opens, what 8am or earlier than that?

seen some pictures in front of the castle in the dark......guessing you can do evening's when its closed too??

where else can you have the photo shoots? are they before the parks open too?

oops forgot to say, does the cost of the MK shot include the photographer or is that a charge to just use the park/location for an hour?

The price is for the venue, photographer and I forget how many prints.

MK shoots used to be at 530 and 630 hence the castle pictures inthe dark. This year they are at 730 so the pictures will be in more light.

You can also do resort shoots and that can be anytime.

^ So far, ours for May 20 is still set for 5:30am. I've had the wedding planner check several times recently, and we haven't been moved yet. Though I wonder if that's because we're doing AK as well- maybe they'll take us there first? Oh that would be amazing!!

It does include the photographer, as well as transportation to and from your resort, some prints (I can't remember how many), and there may be a few other things too. Tbh, I don't really care how many prints we get. I know I won't do anything with them unless they're digital, but I'm not paying more for the CD either. I'm not a fan of photo albums, or pictures hanging everywhere- I think my 1 digital frame is plenty since it's always changing. I'm just excited to go to the parks in my dress!!
