MK Park hours to Midnight

Does anyone know why the MK park hours are until midnight June 6 and June 7? Also June 8, am I correct that MK will be open until 2am with EMH ? Is there anything happening or are they expecting huge crowds. I am planning on going on June 6 and June 8. Trying to predict what the crowds will be like.

Well ... June 6 is the first day after the end of "Gay Days," so it's possible that MK is open late to accommodate all of the people who stayed out of the parks over the weekend to avoid the crowds. That would be my guess.
