MK parades. Where is the best place to sit?

Hi everyone.. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the best places to view the 2 parades at Magic Kingdom are..
for the Share a dream parade, and also for the SpectroMagic parade?

I think it depends on your party. Have you seen them before? If so, you can get there later and not worry about front row. Are the kids older? Then you might want to go towards the end of the parade. Little kids? Main Street is great because you can see Tink fly down. We've been everywhere and it just depends on your plans. I hated having to stake out a spot at 7:30 for a 9 parade, but I did and met some great people. Bring some cards and the time will go quicker. Also bring your ponchos to 'hold' spots for your group. Once one person sits down, everybody else does.

Like the last poster said, it really depends on your family. But as for me, I like to sit on Main Street for both parades- right in front of the Barber Shop. I found that I never had to get there as early for the big stretch of Main Street. For the night parade, you'll be at the beginning of the parade. But for the day parade, however, you'll be at the end.

For Spectro we usually like to stake out a spot in the area around the flagpole on Main Street -- it is also a pretty good spot for seeing Wishes. For the SADCT parade we like to sit in the shade -- the sun can be kinda harsh at 3:00 in the afternoon in the summer Seriously, we like to sit near where the parade starts (down by Splash Mtn) so that once the parade passes we can head for the nearest rides -- the lines aren't as long since lots of people are still waiting for the parade to pass.

We enjoyed Shared the Dream in front of Pecos Bill's. The kids were even invited to dance with some of the characters. I got a great picture of them with Rafiki. This is at the beginning of the parade and after it passes we shot over to have Adventure Land to ourselves.
