MK parade route???

OK, I know the parade can go in either direction....but where does it "typically" start for the afternoon parade? And how about typically for the evening???? What happens when you have 2 parades at night???

Share a Dream parade at 3pm runs from Frontierland and ends at Main St.
Spectromagic parade (evening) runs the opposite way - from Main St to Frontierland.

When we saw the Share a Dream parade the other day, it ended at Main St. {we had gotten there towards the end of it so we were stuck waiting for it to end so we could get across to the emporium}

That's right. Even before the parades changed, the day parade (DCT) went Frontierland to Main Street and Spectro went Main Street to Frontierland.

Anytime I've seen Spectro run twice, both were Main Street to Frontierland. I did see them alternate the MVMCP parade 2 or 3 years ago.

The day parade always begins in Frontierland and ends on Main Street. Spectromagic Always begins on Main Street and ends in Frontierland. It doesn't matter how many times they run Spectromagic, it will always start at Main Street.

FYI the reason the night parade always begins on Main Street is so that areas closest to exist will be able to exit the park after the parade finishes. If the night parade started in Frontierland, then thousands of people would be trying to exit the park while the parade was still on Main Street.

Good idea, in theory, but everyone hangs around for Wishes anyway - so massive crowds at the exit.

As they said, I was there for the past two weeks and the afternoon parade does start in Frontierland and Spectromagic begins on Main Street.

Not really, many people leave after the parade and don't wait for the fireworks. Also on many of the more busy nights SpectroMagic ends the night. Many days they run spectro at 9 and 11 with wishes between at 10.
