Yes we used it in July for the afternoon parade - it was worth it to us as we didn't need to stake out a place in advance. We got a reasonable view without a lot of people around.
I thought it was well worth it.
You view the parade from head on as it approaches from Liberty Square and then turns as it goes round the hub, so you get to see it from different angels.
The "crowd" in the FP+ area was never more then 2 people deep and we walked up 10mins before the parade started.
The only downside I can think of is that there isn't much shade in the FP+ area.
Here's some photos/video I took on our April trip from the FP+ spot: http://youtu.be/cN8oHbVKc3k
You can see how crowded the regular viewing locations are on the other side of the street.
that's a great view, thanks for sharing. I guess the non shade part isn't too much of a problem when you haven't "camped out a spot" for an hour.
.....surprised that Frozen/A&E haven't got their own float like Rapunzel, and it's a bit of a blink and you miss them as they twirl around, it looks like they are a bit of a cheap add in.
