Hi, Everyone --

I was just reading about the FP+ areas for MSEP and Wishes. The post said that the area for Wishes is a grassy area. I was thinking of using a FP for Wishes, but I'll have an ECV. Will that work at all? I can't sit on the ground (both knees are shot). If I use a FP for MSEP, which I read is at the end of Main Street, will I be able to get up to the other end of Main Street in time to see the castle show and fireworks? I'm going in mid-September, when low crowds are forecast, if that makes any difference.

Is the FP+ area for Festival of Fantasy still across from the castle in the blazing sun?

I understand some of this is dependent on when they finish the construction in the hub area. Is there any estimate of when that will be done?

Thanks a lot!!!

1. The "grass" is AstroTurf. An ECV will work just fine.

2. Depends. The ONLY way to get from the parade FP+ area to the Wishes FP+ area is to move into the street IMMEDIATELY as the end of the parade comes by and FOLLOW it down Main St. to one of the Wishes areas.
Getting from the street into the Wishes FP+ area at that time with an ECV would be very difficult. Lots of guests in the way.

3. Not that location anymore, but the new area IS STILL in the blazing sun.

4. Nothing definite.

Below is a "work-in-progress" of my overview of the new Hub. Some of the "outer" sidewalks shown have not been built yet. Some of the unfinished areas have since been finished. The original photo is by Scott Keating, posted on WDWMagic.

So we have a FP scheduled for MSEP in September as we have 2 people who use scooters. Will we be in the magenta colored area? They cannot stand for any length of time, so we thought the FP would be the way to go. Thoughts on this? The cast member we talked with said there were 3 areas of FP for that parade? I'm a bit confused.

The magenta colored areas are the FP area for Wishes - as of right now, the FP area for MSEP is by the flagpole when you first enter the park (although it could change by September). The CM didn't know what he (or she) was talking about.

LOL, thanks. I have been concerned all along that they would not be able to see the parade because of people standing in front of them. So now, I am even more confused... I am thinking if we set up early enough with cold drinks, we might as well not do the fast pass and set up on our own... especially since it's September. And having been numerous times, I find September to be the easiest for us, crowd wise.

Is the FP area for Wishes a good place to view the "Celebrate the Magic" show that takes place before the fireworks? We're going in mid-November, and last year at that time the crowds were bad (presumably due to free dining). We're hoping to FP Wishes this year to have a more pleasant experience.

So if you have a FP+ for Wishes do you get entry into the FP+ location for the Main Street Electrical Parade and Celebrate the Magic too? Since they run one right after the other this seems like they would have to? Last time we were there (2013) the FP for fireworks didn't exist. We will also have an ECV in our party so I'm glad to hear he will be fine in this area with the ECV. I was very worried about this.

No, and the Wishes and MSEP FPs are in different areas.

The FP areas for Wishes and MSEP are in two separate locations. However, you can watch all three shows in the Wishes FP area (although you will be around 5 rows back to watch MSEP). In my opinion, I like this area because you can sit on the ledge or in the grassy area before the shows start.

I know this isn't a FP area but behind the castle between small word and the carousel is a cool and different spot to watch the fireworks. Your close, not near as crowded and surrounded by the fireworks. Just wanted to throw that one out there.
