Hi!

Our family of 4 has 7-day MYW tickets w/ the park-hopper option & arrive at WDW on Sun, 5/22 & depart on Sat, 5/28. (We're staying in a Fort Wilderness Cabin.)

Originally, I had planned MGM for Tues & MK for Wed, but, not only is Wed the morning EMH for MK, but I've also read that Tues is a less-crowded day at MK - I think . . . I've read so much now, that I'm a little crazy!

Also, we plan to be in MK on Sun night for the Spectromagic Parade & Wishes and in Epcot on Mon night for IllumiNations. If we stayed w/ MGM on Tues, then it would be another "late" night w/ Fantasmic. On the evening of our MK day, we plan to go back to our cabin for dinner & then the campfire & movie at FW. We have 2 small children, so I am worried that they might not handle 3 late nights in the parks in a row.

So, I switched our MK & MGM days - now, I have us going to MK on Tues & MGM on Wed. However, on the Tues of the week we're going, "Fantasmic" is scheduled for both an early show & a later show - which might possibly mean that the early show wouldn't be as crowded since there are 2 shows scheduled. However, we have a FDP scheduled, so we should have seats anyway. (There have also been some Spectromagic Parades added to the schedule for the week of 5/22, but, offhand, I can't remember which nights have 2 Spectromagics scheduled.)

I guess what I'm asking, for those of you who are familiar w/ WDW crowd patterns & parade/fireworks schedules, does our "touring plan" for the week of 5/22 through 5/28 make sense?

Sunday, arrival day - Dinner (& Spectro & Wishes) at MK
Monday - Epcot (& Illuminations)
Tuesday - MK (dinner & evening back at Fort Wilderness)
Wednesday - MGM (& Fantasmic)
Thursday - AK (dinner @ Boma & then evening back at Fort Wilderness)
Friday - MK (dinner at 'Ohana & Wishes at Poly)
Saturday, departure day - MK & DTD

(Since we have 2 small children, I figure MK will be "the" park for our family. And I don't have any park-hopping "scheduled", but I figured that, if 1 park became too crowded or if our plans/desires for the day changed we'd "hop" to another. And I do plan on our MGM & AK days heading back to the cabin for afternoon naps/rest.)

I know I've rambled quite a bit, but I really appreciate any advice & tips!! :)

Check out touringplans.com it tells you exacltly which dates to avoid which parks and which ones are the best on the dates you want.

Park hopping is wonderful, especially if you are staying at a MK resort like Ft. Wilderness.

Start the day out at one of the "other parks", come back to your cabin for lunch, swim and short nap and finish the day by riding the ferry to the MK for the late afternoon/evening.

We've done this several times and really got all of our MK touring done in the evenings - especially the nights with the Extra Magic Hours. Also, if part of the group is ready to call it a day, it is easy enough to split up and get back to your cabin/campsite.
