4 Adults 1 full day and another day where we need to be at the airport at 5PM which park would you make a whole day out of and which to make a half day?

If you’ve never been to DW before then MK full and Epcot half.

If you have been too DW often, then Epcot full day, MK half.

My preference would be Epcot full day, half day MK. Especially if you frequent DL, there's enough overlap between MK and DL. If it's a first time trip which I'm pretty sure it isn't since I've seen you posting around here then Epcot full and MK half.

Depends on your group's preferences, if they've been to WDW before/how many times they've been, what time of year you're going (e.g., Epcot festivals, if you're visiting during a super crowded time), and when you're going (if nighttime spectaculars are important to the group... right now Epcot has an interim nighttime show that I wouldn't prioritize over seeing Happily Ever After at MK).

Between rope dropping (especially if you're staying on-site and get early entry) and Genie+, you can probably do all of the MK attractions you want to ride before you have to leave for the airport. But if your group is really into Disney nostalgia and/or would appreciate a classic castle fireworks show, you may want to do a full day in MK.

If your group would like leisurely snacking/drinking around World Showcase, taking in shows/entertainment, and doing what people might think of as non-traditional Disney stuff (e.g., The Land and Sea pavillions, country pavillions), it might be nice to spend a whole day at Epcot because there's a lot to see. But Epcot doesn't get a new nighttime show until later this year, so if your group likes nighttime spectaculars, you might want to spend the full day in MK so you can see Happily Ever After. The interim show is entertaining, but nothing special.

1 full day I recommend Magic Kingdom because you got pirates of the Caribbean, Thunder Mountain, Dumbo ride and small world ride. Some advice make sure you get your park reservations because Magic Kingdom get's fully booked most of the time.

The second day you said you only got half of day that would be a bit of a rush but I'd go for Epcot best to get the genie plus as it's half of day.

If you choose not to do a park day for the half of day how taking a trip to International Drive and have a go of the starflyer, slingshot or wonderworks something like that might be a bit easier especially if you only have half of day.

Anyway whatever you choose have a lovely time and have fun.

Sorry but I have to muddle the waters.

If you have access to early entry, I would go to AK in the morning and do most attractions there before park hopping to MK. You can buy G+ and start stacking rides for the evening, so when you park hop you may already have 3 major rides waiting for you.
AK is a unique park with unique attractions you cannot find anywhere else but it doesn't have many rides, so it's doable in half a day if you have the right plan of attack. Then you can watch the night show at the MK and do some rides.
For the half day: I would go with DHS because Rise of the Resistance is such an amazing ride that I think it's unmissable. But I haven't done Guardian of the Galaxy and reviews for that are extremely good as well.

We are doing MM on Sept. 13 ,don't need to do HS. I'm mainly asking because it's my DW DD and SIL . We've done many trips to WDW as we've been Dvc since the children were 12 and 8 they are now 39 and 36. I was mainly thinking about my SIL who has only done 1 trip and GOG rewind and TRON hadn't been opened the last time he went.
Thanx for everyone's feedback.

I'd make the decision on which fireworks you like better, which would mean Epcot for me.

This could mean missing out on Tron, even with ILL if you get pushed too late. It's too early to tell how ILL for Tron will go.

We have never done Genie+ or LL. As far as I'm concerned you have to draw a line somewhere. I've seen harmonies and am glad it's leaving, and hopefully before Sept.

I don't think we'll be doing Small World or Dumbo ,no small kids on this trip.

I'd do both days at Epcot lol. I prefer hanging out in the world showcase (especially if during flower & garden or food & wine) versus walking through hundreds kids with bubble machines! I'm usually done with MK by 11am but that's just me. 😂

Love love love epcot. Would definitely prioritize that over MK but that is partially because we live to close to Disneyland lol. Seeing as your party is mainly adults, they'd probably enjoy the vibe epcot provides over MK.

I know I'm getting old and grouchy because the bubble machines drive me crazy lol. Last time we were in MK I don't think we got a single photo or video without bubbles in the shot. And sitting waiting for Indiana Jones or Fantasmic to start with 347 of those within a 20 foot radius? delightful! 🤣

I would never do mk half day unless you can walk from the park to your car (which you can now with the grand Floridian path). I've gotten stuck at MK with both the monorail and ferry down, so now I've got serious PTSD about missing my flight if I go there on my travel out day
