MK on Wednesday or Thursday???

I've been trying to follow the changes with the EMH. Yikes!!! I know that May is a little far off, but I am trying to get a grip on our schedule while we are at WDW. So, here's the situation and question:

DH and I are hoping that we get an e-mail code soon because we would like to stay on property for the first three days of our trip. If we don't get one (or if a code isn't made available to the public) then we will probably stay off property for our whole trip.

Here's the question....

I have tenatively scheduled our trip to the Magic Kingdom for Wednesday, May 11th . If we are on property, that's great because then we can take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours. :jumping4: If we are not on property, then we won't be able to stay the extra hours. My question for you is... if we don't stay at a Disney resort (where the EMH would be a bonus), do you think I should keep Wednesday as our day for the MK or should I change it to Thursday when it might be less crowded because it's not an EMH evening?

Another reason I am asking is because whatever day we decide to go to MK, we will take our girls to Chef Mickeys as a surprise and I will surprise my DH with parasailing at Sammy Duvall's for his birthday.

Now, I realize that Disney may make this even more complicated for me (and for many others) by changing the hours yet again, but I'm just looking for some general thoughts on which day we should choose: Wednesday or Thursday for Magic Kingdom? I hope I'm making sense with my question.

I completely agree! In fact, we are staying on-property and are still considering if we want to go to MK on Wednesday because the crowds will be larger. We have young kids so the late hours are less appealing to us than the early opening ones.

We will be at Disney May 8-21. Guess we'll "see you there." LOL. If you are not staying on property I would NOT go on the EMH day. The following day should be less crowded and more enjoyable.
