i know many avoid MK on Saturdays and Mondays. how are Sundays here. is it less crowded due to many guests using Sunday as a travel day or it's just as crowded as Saturday

We have always used Sundays as MK days. We have also been on Tuesday a couple of times, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday each once. We've never been on a Saturday, but we have found Sundays to be the least crowded day of the week. It's really nice. I'm sure holiday weekends are an exception though.

Edit: We visit between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and during college spring break, which is usually the first or second week of March.

Its true about Monday's being the most crowded, its INSANE! I try to avoid Mondays as much as possible.

We have been going to MK on Sundays for our last handful of trips. It's hard to gauge exactly how crowded it is, but it's very doable. Especially if you can start earlier in the morning.

Like any day at Disney the crowds will pick up as the day progresses, but overall it's one of the "less" crowded days on our trip. We tend to go from a Friday to a Thursday when we do visit.

We were there on Sunday of President's Weekend. In the scheme of things, I did not think it was that bad. We had FP+ for the early part of the day, and were able to score additional FP+ for later on. For rides without FP+, Peter Pan's Flight had a 60 minute wait at 10:45 am, Small World was about 45 minutes at noon. Winnie the Pooh had a 30 minute wait at 10:00 pm, Mine Train had a 60 minute wait at 10:45 pm. There was no one in any of the Photo PasTalking Mickey had a 10 minute wait at 11:45 pm, and Tinkerbell was just 5 minutes. The biggest surprise was the People Mover had a good 20+ minute wait at about 1:00 pm. I don't know if it was broken down at some point, but I am just not used to waiting more than 5 minutes for it.

We had a friend in an ECV, who we helped leave after Happily Ever After. Going down Main Street to the Resort Monorail was very doable. We didn't feel as if people were continually jumping in front of us. He kept it on a steady speed, and we could move with the flow.

So I vote Sundays are a bit less crowded.

We’ve been on Sat, Sun, Tues, and Thurs. Wed too but it doesn’t count because it was raining all day. Our busiest day was Tues (during spring break). Our Sats have been the second most busy days. Sun has been a little less busy than Sat and Thursday was the least busy. Your mileage will definitely vary. But if I were to choose between Sat and Sun I would take Sun.

We were there on a Sunday July 5 once. We thought the crowds would be crazy, but apparently they were all at MK the day before for July 4 - we heard they had to stop admissions at times on Sat. (We’d wisely gone to EP.) Sunday wasn’t bad - I guess people were traveling back home. SWe got to ride Peter Pan several times for my toddler . Have fun!

So glad to hear this. We are going on a Sunday this year.

The best day at MK for us was Sunday on a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. In addition, the previous night was evening EMH from 10:00-midnight so I am assuming most people visited the night before as the park was pretty empty from rope drop to 11:00 am and most rides were a walk on or 5-10 minute waits. However, this was back in 2015 so not sure how bad it is during a regular Sunday with no special events.
