MK on non MNSSHP nights. You been in 2015?

With the mnsshp party crowds being heavy so far this season Im wondering what MK is like on non party days? I know they are more crowded normally but is it summertime crowded?

Wednesday was summer crowded. Read reports that crowds thinned some after 2nd parade, but we were long gone get then.

We were there 9/23 in the evening and 9/24 most of the morning/early afternoon. 9/23 wasn't awful but we literally only went in for dinner at CHH and then for the MSEP. We were exiting during the castle show and fireworks. I dont think we rode anything...
9/24 was AM EMH and it was packed. And we were there within 5 mins of RD.

They were pretty busy the days we were there. There are so many party days, that many people are forced to go on party days or not go to the Magic Kingdom at all. Also, since there are so many party days, on the few days that there is no party, the MK is packed because otherwise people won't be able to see Wishes and the Electrical Parade.

Daughter and son in law got off a cruise yesterday at port canaveral and rented a car and drove to MK for the day. They got there about 9:30 and stayed till 5, they said the park was not crowded at all, they rode 7dmt with a 35 min wait, Peter Pan with a 20 min wait, and all the other rides with a wait of 15 min or less ( splash mountain, big thunder mountain, buzz, Pirates, jungle cruise, voyage of little mermaid, haunted mansion and a couple of those twice). Since it was a last minute decision they had no fp but said they did everything they wanted and had a blast. I looked at touring plan this morning and the crowd level showed to be a 4 but yesterday was a party day.

I had hoped for that experience on Tuesday. We've done many party days at MK in the past with similar waits ... it wasn't like that earlier in the week.

We have 3 day tickets and mnsshp for the 22nd. Currently we plan to do the following:

Monday...AK then hop to MK about 5pm for wishes and msep.
Tuesday....Epcot
Wed.....off day
Thurs.....MK then Mnsshp

We chose thurs for our MK day since crowds are normally lower on party days. Monday and thurs will be very long days for us.

Im now considering the following...

Mon...MK
Tues...Epcot
Wed... off day
Thurs...Mnsshp
Fri....AK

This option would save us $150 on park hoppers and allow for more relaxing days. Unfortunately, it puts all 3 park days on a NON recommended park day.
