MK on Friday or Saturday

Would it be better to visit MK for a full day on Friday or Saturday 11/5 or11/6? I have a park hopper and a single day pass. I am inclined to use the single day for MK on Friday (hours are 9-9) and use the park hopper on Sat to go to MGM (9-7) and hop back to MK (closes at 11) for Spectro and wishes. Is this a good plan? Please let me know your thoughts from a crowd standpoint.

I would go to MK on Friday (that being the lesser of two evils) and definetly plan to go to the SECOND Spect. parade on Sat. Every one will be at the first.

I have to carefully plan for crowds also as my DH would have an anurism in a crowded park. And with my itinerary so tight I DO NOT have time to call 911!

Do MK on Friday, and MGM/MK on Saturday. MGM has EE on Saturday, so you can get there at 8 a.m. If the crowds get to be unbearable, you might want to leave earlier, hop over to Epcot, and take the monorail to MK.

Thanks, I noticed the EE on MGM after I did the post. I think that solidified my plans. I am also inclined to the latter Spectro, thanks for that suggestion. I made a snap decision this spring to book in Nov because of the light crowds and now I'm doing the last minute shuffle to try to keep my family from thinking I was crazy!! It wil definitely be Jan-Feb for the next trip!!

I think you should go to MK on Sat. Because I'm going that Friday and that will be one less person there!
Just kidding! Definately go on Friday!! I'm going to see wishes on Friday night, go to EE MGM Sat. then hop back for Spectro! Same as you! I think that's the best plan! And if you see me there, say HI. I'll be wearing a lime green DIS button!

Got Quattro? I agree with your philosophy but have found that you can squeeze 3-4 major rides (in this case TOT, RnRC and maybe Star Tours) into that first hour and then when and if the crowds get thick, I will have a PH to go elsewhere as swilphil suggested. It's a very good chance to utilize a fast pass too.
