MK on day of MNNSHP?

Going in August and the Friday night is the Halloween party. According to Touring Plans, MK is only a 2 for that day! Do people really avoid the park during the day since the hours are limited? I'm guessing it would start getting busy after 4:00 when party guests arrive. But would it be good to plan for that day and just skip to another park for the evening?

I think a lot of people skip MK the day of the party as the hours are limited and they can not be there for the evening show/fireworks.

We have done this a couple of times, it's not super low crowds, but it's so much better than going the day after a party.
