MK on a Tues or a Sunday?

I am going to Disney 8/19-24 and I am trying to plan my days. MK is a 5/10 for crowds on both the Sunday and the Tuesday. I feel like mid-week (Tues) would be slower, but I am not sure.

Any experience with this? Or suggestions?

Has anyone ever been that week? Are the crowds really 5/10-ish? We plan on working in some half pool days to help with the heat.

Really, it doesn't matter. The crowd calendars aren't of any true accuracy. MK does seem to get a bit busier on Friday and Saturday, as that is often a start/end day for vacationers and locals will come in for a day trip. However, I really don't think you'll notice any difference at all between a Tuesday and a Sunday. Frankly, even Fri/Sat I may be hard pressed to tell a difference. It's more time of year that makes a difference in crowd size than it is day of the week.

I can't recall if that was the exact week we were there in 2015, but it was around that time. It's busy, as always, but not holiday busy.

We always schedule MK on Sundays and Tuesdays. Sunday morning would have the lowest crowd during the morning. Rule of thumb is that if the park has late hours one night then it won't be crowded the next morning. Saturday usually has late hours, which is why we like Sunday mornings.

The other day we like is Tuesday. The most crowded day at MK is often Monday, which means that the crowd goes to a different park on Tuesday.

Does your rule of thumb apply if the MK had evening magic hours the night before?

Both days have EMM if that might be of interest to you. A special ticketed event reserved for only about 200 people between 7:45-9am. It is limited to SDMT, pooh, and PP tho. With breakfast at Pinocchio.

I've read that week should be less crowded due to schools being back in.
We will be in MK on that Tuesday for our first trip. It wasn't a preference for it to be our first park either. You might want to make ADRs when you settle on your days. Excited for FP being open in a couple weeks! Have a good trip!

Edited to say I didn't check availability for EMM before the suggestion
