The other restaurants in the park are Liberty Tree Tavern and Crystal Palace. I've been to Crystal Palace for the character breakfast which was good fun but I'm not sure if they do characters for lunch. Liberty Tree they do characters for dinner but not for lunch and I have heard it was a nice experience at either time. I would avoid Tony's if you're used to authentic Italian food, but if not it has a very nice ambiance and is super cute!
I really like Crystal palace, we go everytime...and not just for characters but they buffet always has great food options, the atmosphere is beautiful and great service! The other one I like is Liberty Tavern for some good ol comfort food. I am not a big fan of many other TS places in MK, tony's and the plaza are just OK in by book but not anywhere I usually plan on going to.
We love Crystal Palace--but much prefer breakfast over lunch. Our other must do at Magic Kingdom is The Plaza. It has great sandwiches (cheesburgers, reubens, club sandwiches, etc.), great shakes and even BETTER SUNDAES!!!!
The food at Tony's is nothing special but we always have lunch there. We do a late lunch and ask for a table by the window and watch the parade go by. It is very relaxing.
My server was so right when he said "I have two words-Ooey Gooey". The Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake with a Colony Salad at LTT is one of the best meals at WDW. It's definitely the best dessert!
CosmicRay's in TomorrowLand is good. It's counter service, but sit down atmosphere with "live" entertainment. I always get a kick out of the entertainment there.
