MK July 4th Fireworks

Just watched the MK July 4th fireworks on You Tube.. Laughing Place has uploaded them.

Absolutely amazing, gave me goosebumps... Anyone see them in person this week?

Just got home after watching them tonight.

Incredible. The music was great and the fireworks were truly jaw-dropping in person. I've seen Wishes, Hallowishes and the MVMCP fireworks and these tonight were the best of the bunch. Disney outdid themselves.

And the crowd was just as jaw-dropping. ;)

Thank you so much for the link!!

After watching our local fireworks and hearing the kids complain - Disney's are better - the whole time....I really needed that!!!

Disney's are so much better!! We decided that the local ones aren't worth the headache. They shoot them one at a time, the whole thing lasts 10 minutes and it takes 45 mins to get out of the parking lot!!

Ahhh, you posted the link before I could. Oh well.

I do agree the video is amazing and I truly enjoyed it. I had earphones on with the vowel turned up and made the screen fit the computer monitor and it was just awesome. It wasn't as good as being there in person, but it was still great. I enjoyed seeing the castle decorated like a flag.

Disney certainly does know how to put on a fireworks show.

I fight with this everytime I see fireworks in my hometown. As a general rule they do a pretty good job given we are a city of about 55k. The last two years they have even syncronized the patriotic music with the fireworks. It still just can't compete with Disney though. Same fireworks different music, that's how we end up viewing them. I get bored watching them. Then there's the "finale" they shoot off a bunch all at once and it's pretty neat, but then they have 4 or 5 stragglers that are big and it's just a really anti-climactic way to end the show. When Disney ends a show you KNOW it's done and if it isn't, it always means the best is yet to come.

I always say screw NY and their ball, when it comes to fireworks on New Years and July 4, Disney takes the cake!

I think those were the fireworks from last year, maybe I am wrong. They are still great....The only problem with the 4th is the crowd. I would love to go back for the 4th again...

thank you so much for posting this..
i'm crying like a baby right now...

those were spectacular...we're usually at WDW on the 4th, but we haven't been for 3 years...it's hard to be on the wrong side of the ocean any time of the year, but on the 4th especially....
hanging out at the ambassadors house for the annual 4th celebration just doesn't hold a candle..

god that was good....gotta go find a kleenex....

We were also in the crowd, too, Bella, and I agree - it was exceptional in both storytelling and music choices! I am so glad it made it to YouTube so fast, so we can see it again! My 3 yr old just hugged me with excitement and emotion during the performance - it was stirring enough even for her to be emotionally touched! This was a supposed to be a new show - according to the OC Register - and will be the one they use for the next several years.

They started them a touch early - just as Fantasmic ended, so they could get as much in as possible before Anaheim shut them down with the winds. I was in the middle of Main Street just up into the hub from Coke Corner, and it was so worth sitting there from 7:30 on. They did make us all stand at 8:15ish, for the last 1.5 hours of wait time.

Even with experiencing the crowd fight that almost broke out behind us (which DLR Security handled exceptionally), we would do it again next year to see the full show. People seemed to be satisfied with what they did see (or that Disney at least tried to give them a show), as I didn't hear too much grumbling as folks went by us on their way out. I thionk if they didn't do any of it, things would have been much worse!
