MK July 3rd late arrival?

If we plan to arrive at MK at around 7PM on July 3rd will the park be at capacity? I was hoping to spend the day at Epcot and hop to MK in the evening for the fireworks. I realize this is a very busy week and have heard of the park closing on the 4th of July, but I'm unsure about the 3rd. Any feedback on this is appreciated.

If you are On-site or have an AP, and are planning to use the monorail from Epcot (TTC parking may be full) you are probably OK.

MK has had very few, if any phase 4 closures since NFL opened.

Make sure you have a backup plan (like watching from TTC) and be prepared for the most packed hub you’ve ever imagined.

As long as you are not buying single day tickets you won't have anything to worry about. That's the only closure they've had in a decade, or more

Thank you! Yes we are on site and will monorail over. We’ll be with my Uncle and family who are AP holders, but my immediate family are not. We are also staying onsite with multi-day tickets. Maybe we’ll go earlier just to be safe.
Crowds don’t bother me much, I work in NYC right in Rock Center and have braved many tree lightings and general tourist crowds

The park won't close, don't worry. Summer crowds aren't what they used to be.

We are also planning a later arrival to MK that night after a 6pm dinner reservation at Citricos. I’m hoping that we can arrive at the park by 8-8:30pm. If security remains the same, then we will pass thru security at the GF monorail and hopefully bypass any long lines at the main gate. We are AP holders and DVC (although I don’t think DVC has any bearing on park entry?) members staying on site, so I don’t anticipate us getting blocked out of the park.

Isn't MK doing nighttime EMH on July 3? I thought I saw that somewhere. We were also planning on possibly heading to MK for that, and had the same concerns about possible capacity issues.
