MK in July -- Hours

So, is the MK really going to be open only from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. in July? My searches have told me (1) the calendars are not set months in advance anymore, but (2) the MK did close at 10 p.m. pretty much every night last July and it was kind of a disaster. If we stay at the Contemporary, the transportation nightmare won't be an issue, but I was looking forward to being at the MK from 10 p.m. to midnight now that my kids are older and we're all capable of staying awake late. We have sensory and anxiety challenges in our family, and I was hoping to spend the afternoon at the hotel and take advantage of the more peaceful night hours. If our only chance is the Wednesday extra magic hours currently on the schedule, the MK will be even more packed than usual all day, right?

Way too early for July's hours to be finalized. They just updated MK hours yesterday for the last part of May and first two days of June.

I would anticipate mk to change from 10pm..if anything maybe 11. What you'll want to hope for is emh changing possibly and making the park open until midnight.

You can look at last year's hours for a rough draft and I'm pretty sure 10pm was about the average for MK closing

We were there last July. Everything closed so early. I was so sure it would change, but it didn’t.

Look at mid June for hours to be mostly finalized for July. But yes, I think last year, MK closed at 10pm most days in July. AK had the later hours last summer. Not sure how things will play out this year though.

Unless we see a big crowd increase over last summer, my $ is on 10pm MK closings continuing to be the norm for most of July this year too.

Apparently they are having extended evening hours at Hollywood Studios the entire month of July so some traffic maybe headed that way.
